First Watch, a Delicious Start to Your Day!
I had an early morning business meeting today in John's Creek area and an associate mentioned that we should go try one of our recent Office Building Distribution Clients, First Watch. The name was somewhat intriguing as I was hoping for a yummy breakfast so I figured I would give it a try. First Watch is located in the John's Creek Village shopping center near the LA Fitness and it's really a bustling place. They took over the J Christopher's location and although the name is different, the food, ambience and hours are similar, and in some instances better! Breakfast for me is somewhat of a luxury as I don't always have time to have it. First Watch did not disappoint!
Besides breakfast First Watch serves brunch and lunch daily from 7AM-2PM. I will be back!

Bantam + Biddy

Last Wednesday, Caitlin & I decided to try out lunch at one of our newest office building distribution clients, Bantam & Biddy. We completed an office building distribution for them last week, distributing 5,000 coupons to offices within the area. Located in Ansley Mall, they are very convenient to Parkside Piedmont. I always love to support our clients and as an avid fan of new restaurants, this was the perfect choice! Bantam & Biddy is a modern southern eatery- from their display case full of homemade pies, pastries and cookies, to the green and white checked table cloths and mason jars holding wrapped straws that adorn the tables, they do not miss a beat!
We opted for a table inside, though they host a bustling patio option as well, which would be perfect for a warm summer day. I ordered the watermelon, tomato and mozzarella salad and the chipotle hummus. It was the perfect vegetarian lunch. Caitlin enjoyed the veggie plate of 4 sides- it was hard for her to only pick 4 because there were so many delicious sounding options. If you live or work in Midtown be sure to venture over to Ansley Mall for lunch or dinner in the coming weeks, and let us know if you'd like us to send you a coupon. You won't be disappointed!

May Staff Profile - Corey Bradberry
I've been working with UE on and off for the past three or four years.
I have a lot of odd jobs, but I'm an actor and teaching artist, so the world of theatre keeps me pretty busy. That said, I enjoy the usual: writing in my diary, reading blogs until four in the morning, and buying groceries only once I've completely run out.
UE allows great flexibility in scheduling. I mostly work as a freelancer, and Urban offers a great way to supplement my income. Pus you're always working with different people due to the number of projects available, which is a great way to meet people you would never meet otherwise.

Urban Enterprises, The Reynolds Group, and Celebrity Cruises are a Winning Combination at the Atlanta Steeplechase!
This weekend was quite busy for Urban Enterprises. We utilized a good number of staff for several events, including the Atlanta Steeplechase! The 48th Running of the Atlanta Steeplechase benefits the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine, and is considered the Kentucky Derby of Georgia. The day was filled with horse races, colorful outfits (the HATS!), live music, drinks, dining, and Urban Enterprises! Our staff were readily available at the event, representing Celebrity Cruise Lines for The Reynolds Group. Several staff were located in the Guarantor's tent offering champagne to VIP guests. We also had our very own "Captain" Brad (me!) in the center of all the action, taking pictures with guests and promoting the "Modern Luxury" of Celebrity Cruise Lines. The weather was terrific and the crowd exuberant, and we are grateful to have contributed to the experience. Here's to more fun events with terrific Clients like The Reynolds Group and Celebrity Cruises!15

April CLIENT SPOTLIGHT!
Our April Client Spotlight is Amy Caulder of Terminus! Urban implements Marketing Programs for Terminus including their coupon program.
How is your experience at Terminus thus far? I have been at Terminus for over 5 years now. I can truly say we have some of the most fun tenants in our buildings and no day is the same as the last.
Why do you use Urban Enterprises? We had a great idea for our tenants and no idea how to implement it. Then came Urban Enterprises. Not only did UE help us get things off the ground they have kept it running smoothly ever since. Even better, they know us so well they bring us additional things we can offer the tenants which is appreciated and loved by all.
How long have you lived in Atlanta? I have been here a little less than 6 years now.
What do you do when you're not working? My passion is travelling. Anytime I can get away for any length of time you will find me anywhere in the world. Last year was Jamaica, London, Paris and Charleston. This year I have already been to Florida twice and in July I will be going to Ireland and Scotland.
Check back around May 15th for our next Client Spotlight. Also take a look at our Staff Profile pages to see some of the great people who get the work done!

NCAA FINAL FOUR AND ATLANTA SCORE A WIN WITH URBAN ENTERPRISES!

After a whirlwind month of promotions, Urban Enterprises is sad for the Final Four to end! When Shayne first sat in a Final Four retail planning committee led by the ACVB, she knew this was an event that Urban HAD to be involved with promoting. Upon meeting with Sharon Goldmacher and her fabulous team at Communications 21, Caitlin and Shayne created a multi-prong promotion that included an office distribution to downtown Atlanta buildings, a community board campaign, and street teams at local events. From the Publix Marathon to the Globetrotters and Hawks games, Urban teams were all around Atlanta promoting the games and the concerts! Urban takes full credit for the incredible turnout at the Big Dance concerts ;)!
This past weekend, Urban street teams were in the center of the action giving away basketballs, t-shirts, Bracket Town tickets, and Final Four bracelets! The only thing that could have made the experience better was if Michigan had brought home a win.
Check out the Atlanta Journal Constitution article about our company and the Final Four.

April Staff Profile- Shelby Watson

My first job with Urban Enterprises was working as an Elf for Christmas starting the Sunday before Thanksgiving.
2. What do you do when you're not working?
When I am not working with Urban I am working on my photography business with my co-photographer Molly Dunn-Devine. Always asking my friends to do photo shoots when the weather is nice! I love taking off to Florida to see my family on the beach as well.
3. What do you like best about Urban Enterprises?
I love the flexibility that Urban offers, that is the greatest attribute I can find in a company. I love the diversity that goes on in the office on a day-to-day basis. The same problem doesn’t happen twice, and new materials are flying through everyday. There are so many interesting people to meet that work for Urban, along with different people that run the events. I love that so many people are performers that have interesting stories and places to talk about.
4. How did you find out about Urban Enterprises?
I didn’t find out about Urban Enterprises until I was having an interview with Caitlin Smith. I walked up to the concierge desk at Atlantic Station about becoming Elf for the season and I was passed through e-mail addresses until Caitlin asked me to come in for an interview. I was beyond thrilled when I found out what the company was actually about!
5. Who in Hollywood would play you in a movie?
I was named after a little known southern movie, Steal Magnolias, and I can’t imagine anyone else playing my role beside Julia Roberts. Even though, the Shelby in Steal Magnolias and I do not have anything in common, her role in Erin Brockovich is what sells me on her playing my part.
