Once topped to our satisfaction, into the pizza oven they went. We sat at a high top booth and our food was brought to us a few minutes later. The pizzas were DELICIOUS! The crust was cooked perfectly, and the toppings were very flavorful. Being that it was early on a Sunday night, I was very happy to see a line out the door after we sat down. On the cups for our drinks, I noticed some very interesting facts about the restaurant. They offer gluten free and vegan options and all of their sausages and meatballs are house made! They also get their vegetables delivered daily. I'm a big fan of local, healthy and unprocessed foods…so I love that a counter service restaurant has such healthy options. And even though we ate pizza for dinner, it was the perfect amount, and knowing where the ingredients came from makes it even better! 

Maddio's also offers the Take & Bake pizzas where they make em, you bake em! It would be nice to stop by on the way home from work, pick up a pizza and head home for a quiet night in. We also noticed they do $2 drafts and trivia on Thursdays. Check out a list of their Atlanta locations here. We'll definitely be back!
