Roswell Presents: True America
The city of Roswell, in an effort to bring national acts to their Cultural Arts Center stage, has created a new series called "Roswell Presents" This exciting new artistic endeavor will begin with three concerts but aims to expand to include film, comedy, dancing, and more. First up is renowned Americana artist Justin Townes Earle. Justin received the Americana Music Award for Emerging Artist of the year in 2009 and has continued to gain notoriety since that time. 
For those that don't know what Americana music is, think Johnny Cash. Its a combination of many popular genres of American music including folk, country, blues, and rock and roll. Intrigued? Visit Justin Townes Earl's official page to hear a sampling of his most popular songs and then make plans to attend his concert in Roswell this Friday, May 25th at 8PM.
