I've been working with UE on and off for the past three or four years.
2. What do you do when you're not working?
I have a lot of odd jobs, but I'm an actor and teaching artist, so the world of theatre keeps me pretty busy. That said, I enjoy the usual: writing in my diary, reading blogs until four in the morning, and buying groceries only once I've completely run out.

3. What do you like best about Urban Enterprises?
UE allows great flexibility in scheduling. I mostly work as a freelancer, and Urban offers a great way to supplement my income. Pus you're always working with different people due to the number of projects available, which is a great way to meet people you would never meet otherwise.

4. How did you find out about Urban Enterprises?
I met Caitlin Smith while we were working together on a children's show in Little 5 Points a few years ago. She had just started with Urban, recommended I sign up with them, and then introduced me to the gang! Obviously, she was impressed with my ability to perform complex curtain speeches..
When Corey is not doing work with Urban Enterprises, he is a often busy with his theatre and performance group, The Collective! We love having such talented and versatile staff, it's one of the major reasons we have such success in the staffing world! Corey exemplifies the Urban Enterprises brand, and we thank him for such professionalism! -Brad

Our featured staff member for April 2013 is Shelby Watson. Shelby has been of tremendous assistance in the office. Shelby has been working with Urban Enterprises since December 2012. 1. How long have you been working for Urban Enterprises?
My first job with Urban Enterprises was working as an Elf for Christmas starting the Sunday before Thanksgiving.
2. What do you do when you're not working?
When I am not working with Urban I am working on my photography business with my co-photographer Molly Dunn-Devine. Always asking my friends to do photo shoots when the weather is nice! I love taking off to Florida to see my family on the beach as well.
3. What do you like best about Urban Enterprises?
I love the flexibility that Urban offers, that is the greatest attribute I can find in a company. I love the diversity that goes on in the office on a day-to-day basis. The same problem doesn’t happen twice, and new materials are flying through everyday. There are so many interesting people to meet that work for Urban, along with different people that run the events. I love that so many people are performers that have interesting stories and places to talk about.
4. How did you find out about Urban Enterprises?
I didn’t find out about Urban Enterprises until I was having an interview with Caitlin Smith. I walked up to the concierge desk at Atlantic Station about becoming Elf for the season and I was passed through e-mail addresses until Caitlin asked me to come in for an interview. I was beyond thrilled when I found out what the company was actually about!
5. Who in Hollywood would play you in a movie?
I was named after a little known southern movie, Steal Magnolias, and I can’t imagine anyone else playing my role beside Julia Roberts. Even though, the Shelby in Steal Magnolias and I do not have anything in common, her role in Erin Brockovich is what sells me on her playing my part.
